Philippines
Overview
Nistar's Philippines campus represents a 500 MW grid-secured, build-to-suit data center development operating under a 20-year Power Supply Agreement (PSA) with one of the country's leading utilities. The project is structured in two phases: an initial 200 MW delivery targeting first energization in Q1 2027, followed by an additional 300 MW staged through 2028. Phase 1 occupies 47 acres (18.75 hectares) within a 172-acre controlled envelope, providing ample room for future expansion and auxiliary infrastructure. The campus benefits from firm grid power drawn from a renewables-heavy generation mix typical of the region, delivered via a utility-owned substation and dedicated high-voltage service designed to meet Tier III+ uptime and resilience standards. Cooling infrastructure is anchored by a planned 5-well groundwater program with on-site storage and treatment facilities, supporting both traditional low-WUE configurations and emerging liquid cooling readiness. Fiber connectivity is provided through a new 2-4 km spur to a long-haul corridor, with dual-entry architecture and an on-campus Meet-Me Room (MMR) designed to serve hyperscale and enterprise tenants. The site's proximity to Manila, combined with strong regulatory support and a mature data center ecosystem, positions it as a strategic node for AI, cloud, and edge compute workloads across Southeast Asia.
