Philippines Project Executes 20-Year Power Supply Agreement for 500 MW Campus
Nistar's 172-acre Manila data center campus has executed a landmark 20-year PSA for 500 MW of grid-secured power, with two-phase ramp starting Q1 2027.
Nistar has executed a 20-year Power Supply Agreement for its Philippines data center campus, securing 500 MW of firm grid power with a renewables-heavy generation mix. The agreement represents one of the largest long-term power commitments for a data center development in Southeast Asia. Power delivery is structured in two phases: an initial 200 MW delivery targeting first energization in Q1 2027, followed by an additional 300 MW staged through 2028. The 172-acre campus includes Phase 1 development on 47 acres, with ample room for future expansion and auxiliary infrastructure. The campus benefits from utility-owned substation infrastructure and dedicated high-voltage delivery systems designed to meet Tier III+ uptime and resilience standards. Cooling infrastructure is anchored by a planned 5-well groundwater program with on-site storage and treatment facilities, supporting both traditional low-WUE configurations and emerging liquid cooling readiness. Fiber connectivity will be provided through a new 2-4 km spur to a long-haul corridor, with dual-entry architecture and an on-campus Meet-Me Room designed to serve hyperscale and enterprise tenants.
